Tuesday, Aug. 16, Alaskans will vote in both the special election and regular primary election with a two-sided ballot.
Voters will first participate in the pick one primary for the regular election, choosing their top pick for each office up for election in the November general election. Voters will need to pick one candidate per category.
Then, Alaska voters will need to flip their ballot over and rank the three candidates listed for the U.S. House of Representatives special seat. There will be a write-in option to rank, as well.
