What it really means to give yourself grace at work

by The 100 Companies

Maybe one of your New Year’s resolutions is deciding if your job is the right fit for you. Erayna Sarget, an anti-burnout speaker and expert says there are endless solutions on social media. However one in particular needs explanation. You’ve heard the term, “Give yourself grace.” Sargent says the term is commonly used but rarely explained.

Here’s how to practice it in your everyday life:

1. Say no to perfectionism. It can be a huge obstacle to happiness.

2. Give yourself credit and a reward. Each day brings achievements that can be recognized.

3. Press mute on negative self-talk.

4. Say no to something.
