GCI Wellness Challenge encourages healthy habits for Alaskans

by The 100 Companies

Every September, the annual GCI Wellness Challenge launches in recognition of Suicide Prevention month. To participate, Alaskans must complete four challenges that were crafted to raise awareness about the tools that can help people manage their mental health and well-being.

Participants of the challenge must complete four simple tasks:

1. Complete a 5K run or walk, or bike a 10K.

2. Check in with a friend.

3. Cook a healthy meal.

4. Be kind to yourself – do a self-care activity.

All participants will be entered into a drawing to win a prize from GCI. Learn how to register at the GCI Wellness Challenge page.
