ANSEP and DOI partnership empowers Alaska Native youth

by The 100 Companies

The Alaska Native Science and Engineering Program and U.S. Department of the Interior have partnered to increase employment opportunities for Alaska Native youth within the DOI’s offices and bureaus. The partnership is part of a continued effort to build a more diverse, equitable and inclusive federal workforce.

Through this new partnership, ANSEP students are hired noncompetitively for DOI jobs for two years after completing their degree and working a specified number of hours for the state’s university.

Now, ANSEP students can pursue federal jobs with ease, and contribute their expertise and cultural knowledge for the betterment of their communities.
