National Dessert Month never tasted so good

National Dessert Month

Life’s sweet when there’s a whole month dedicated to celebrating dessert. That’s right, October is National Dessert Month.

With pumpkin pies, muffins, scones, cobblers and other fall desserts, we’ve celebrated all month long. If you haven’t dusted off your apron and indulged in some fall baking yet, don’t worry, there’s still time. Pick up a copy of Brooke Bell’s newest cookbook “Cake: Layered, Frosted, Sliced & Shared.”

Each chapter explores different kinds of cake (bundt, layer, one-layer, sheet, skillet and pound) for crave-worthy dessert recipes, including seasonal favorites like ooey gooey butter pecan cake or pecan pie bundt cake.
