Halloween is a little more festive here in the 49th state. Here are three great ghoulish events across Alaska:
- Fairbanks: Halloween Trick or Treat Town on Oct. 28, from noon – 7 p.m., at Pioneer Park features spooky rides, a costume contest, games and lots of treats.
- Juneau: The U.S. Coast Guard hosts “Haunted Station” from Oct. 26 – 28. Entry is free with a donation of food for the local food bank.
- Eagle River: Halloween Nature Walks at the Eagle River Nature Center begin at 2 p.m. on Oct. 28. They are both fun and educational for kids!
