Mark the end of summer with delicious food, thrilling rides, vast exhibits and live music at the 2018 Alaska State Fair. The annual event kicks off on Aug. 23 and continues through Labor Day weekend. Taking the stage this year will be the Goo Goo Dolls, Jim Gaffigan, Luke Combs and more.
To skip the hassle of traffic jams and parking lots, hop aboard the Alaska Railroad’s State Fair train. Tickets are on sale now, and departures are scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays throughout the fair season.
