Find some holiday cheer in Juneau this winter with these events:
• The Juneau Holiday Village is a month-long celebration in Alaska’s capital. There is no cost to visit, but a suggested donation to local nonprofits is encouraged.
• The Second Annual Makers Market is perfect for last-minute gifts. Head over to Amalga Distillery on Dec. 13 from 4 to 8 p.m.
• Santa will make a quick stop at Eaglecrest Ski Area on Dec. 24. Kids can see Santa and watch as a torchlight parade winds down the hill to light the way for his journey around the world.
