Denali National Park & Preserve’s Winter Solstice Ski & Walk is coming up Friday, Dec. 21. Beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the Murie Science and Learning Center, the winter visitor center, guests can go on a stroll, ski or snowshoe down a luminaria-lit trail.
Hot drinks will be provided at the visitor center, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own mugs. A telescope will also be set up in the main parking lot of the visitor center from 6-7 p.m. for those wanting to wish upon a star or get a view of the full moon.
