The Anchorage International Film Festival has continued to grow since it was founded it 2001 by Tony Sheppard. Over the course of 10 days, AIFF celebrates and highlights filmmakers from Alaska.
Over 140 films from more than 20 countries have been submitted in AIFF’s six categories, ranging from animation to made in Alaska to documentaries. This year AIFF kicks off on Friday, Nov. 30.
Throughout the winter film festival, hundreds of volunteers and sponsors will work to bring international films to Anchorage. You can purchase tickets or buy a festival pass ahead of time through the Bear Tooth Theatre website.
