Hatcher Pass is one of Alaska’s most beloved recreation areas. During the winter, it’s used exclusively as a snow machine, backcountry and nordic ski area.
Enter Skeetawk, the Matanuska-Susitna Valley’s first designated ski area. It covers 1,400 vertical feet and features a triple chairlift with beginner to intermediate terrain, just in time for the fresh snow! You can even check Skeetawk’s parking lot webcams before you leave home. A must-visit spot for snowboarding fiends, Skeetawk even features a structure park.
Season passes start at $390 for adults. The lift will run Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to dusk.
