Take charge of your breast health

by The 100 Companies

The Alaska Breast and Cervical Screening Assistance Program has served 70,776 people since 1995, paying for a total of 395,529 tests, including 53,180 mammograms. And they’ve helped detect 683 cases of breast cancer, which has a 5-year survival rate of nearly 100% when diagnosed in Stage 1.

You may be eligible for a free mammogram through the program (in addition to a pap test) if you’re an Alaska resident aged 21-64 and meet the income guidelines.

Transgender women who are taking hormones and transgender men (if they haven’t had a bilateral mastectomy or total hysterectomy) can receive free screenings as well.
