Alaskans hoping to plan an international trip in summer 2021 can add Germany to their list. Condor Airlines recently announced it will resume weekly, seasonal service in summer 2021, from June 17 through Sept. 9, for a total of 13 flights. The flights will be a Frankfurt-Anchorage-Fairbanks-Frankfurt configuration.
Condor Airlines first brought travelers from Germany to Fairbanks in 2001. This year was meant to be the 20th anniversary of the longstanding partnership between the airline, Explore Fairbanks and the Fairbanks International Airport, but due to COVID-19, the anniversary was shifted to 2021.
