Community immunity and why it matters

You’ve heard of community (herd) immunity, but what exactly is it and how do we get there?

Community immunity occurs when a large enough portion of a population becomes immune to a disease, making its spread unlikely. The faster we achieve community immunity, the faster we will get back to normal and to live our lives freely again.
