Meet Taylor Feightner (they/them), co-executive director of programming for Choosing Our Roots and LGBTQIA+ advocate. Recently, Thompson & Co. sat down with Taylor to talk about their work and how we can all show up beyond Pride Month.
“Pride doesn’t belong to any one organization … it should be a community place. Pride parades are fantastic. We love them, they’re fun and it’s a great way for people to celebrate together … but then what? How do we take this energy and support and do something with it … Volunteer your time. It’s such an important commodity.”
