Scholarship roundup for Alaska students

Many Alaska students are getting ready to turn the page from high school to college and may be looking for extra help to pay for costs associated with higher education. Below is a roundup of scholarship opportunities for Alaska students.

• The GCI Scholarship Program is accepting applications until March 18.

• For students interested in pursuing an engineering or science field, the Donald Handeland Scholarship application is open until April 30.

• Thompson & Co. PR is offering to host the cost of PRSSA memberships for eligible students in UAA’s Public Communications program.
