The Alaska Native Science & Engineering Program is expanding its full-time Acceleration Academy component to Bethel this fall, advancing education for students in Southwest Alaska. With Acceleration Academy, students can go from eighth grade to a bachelor’s degree in as little as five years and save up to $75,000 in college costs.
The component will offer housing, and UAF – Kuskokwim Campus professors will provide instruction. Acceleration Academy (Bethel) is another step toward ANSEP’s goal of expanding educational opportunities for all Alaskans.
The program is scheduled to be held in person, and applications are being accepted now until the program is filled.
