1. The Last Frontier Honor Flight – This nonprofit sends Alaska veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the war memorials honoring their service.
2. Alaska Warrior Partnership – AKWP helps local veterans find crucial support resources like housing benefits, employment opportunities and even helps file VA claims.
3. Project 22 – This national organization has a local Anchorage chapter and works to combat the high rate of suicide among military veterans.
