A peek into your November ballot

On Nov. 8, Alaskans will use the new ranked choice voting system in a regular general election for the first time. Here’s what you’ll vote on next week:

Ranked options:

• United States Senator

• United States Representative

• Governor/Lieutenant Governor

• State Senators

• State Representatives

Yes/No options:

• Ballot Measure One

• Court of Appeals

• District Court Judges

Head over the the Alaska Division of Elections’ website to view a sample ballot and to find your polling location prior to casting your vote. Early and absentee voting are available now and polling places will be open 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Election Day.
