Thumbs up:
• Election workers: Despite historic challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, Alaska’s elections ran pretty smoothly. Thanks to you all!

• “I voted” stickers: Alaska may have the best ones in the country. Artwork on proud display.

• Willow: ConocoPhillips’ massive new project gets the green light from the feds.

Thumbs down:
• COVID-19 resurgence: The virus is raging. Take care of each other, folks. We’ll get through it together.

• Chilly November: It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it’s the coldest start to November in decades.

• Ballot measures: Alaskans appear to reject both attempts to write new laws at the ballot box.
