The deadline to apply for a Permanent Fund Dividend has been extended to April 30, giving Alaskans until Aug. 31 to donate a portion of their PFD through Pick.Click.Give. Many nonprofits will be looking for a little extra help this year, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Think about this: If nonprofits are hurting, so is the Alaska economy. According to The Foraker Group, nonprofits are the No. 2 employer in Alaska behind the oil and gas industry and account for more than 44,000 jobs.
Pick.Click.Give and give extra if you can, to a nonprofit available for donations.
