Celebrate National Ice Cream Month in Alaska

National Ice Cream Month in Alaska

To celebrate National Ice Cream Month this July, we’re highlighting some of our favorite spots across Alaska:

Wild Scoops (Anchorage) offers small-batch ice cream featuring local ingredients and adventurous flavors like Rhubarb Crumble and Spruce Tip.

• At Hot Licks (Fairbanks), they handpick local cranberries and blueberries for their uniquely Alaska flavors, which have pleased locals since 1986.

Coppa (Juneau) is on a mission to make people happy with their ice cream flavors, and they do not disappoint.

Want to make your own ice cream treat at home? Try these ice cream cookie sandwiches from Taste of the South magazine.
