The busy, summer visitor season is slowing down in Ketchikan, but the town’s thriving arts community can be counted on to provide quality entertainment year-round. The Monthly Grind is produced by volunteers on the third Saturday of every month, September through May.
Audience members can always expect something new from talented local performers who do everything from bluegrass music to presenting scenes from popular plays.
Taking place at the Saxman Tribal House, The Monthly Grind has been a Ketchikan tradition since 1989. Tickets are only $5, but you get your $5 back if you bring a dessert to share.
