You’re never too old to be a gamer, as 164 million U.S. adults know.
The generations that grew up on 2D side-scrollers haven’t dropped the controller – and even those who didn’t are getting into gaming.
A recent report says 65% of adults play video games, and a deeper dive shows how modern technology is growing the $43 billion industry. The most common devices for gaming are smartphones (60%), with the most popular genre simply “casual” (71%).
It all means the definition of “gamer” is changing, even if swiping at Solitaire isn’t the same as a round of “Fortnite.”
