• Valdez Convention & Visitors Bureau will host its annual Oktoberfest & Homebrew Competition, an evening of music and dancing, food, beer and more. The date for this year’s event will be announced in the coming weeks.
• Fairbanks-based HooDoo Brewing Company is all in for Oktoberfest, and they want you to join the party. Climb aboard the Alaska Railroad’s HooDoo Choo Choo to enjoy a sampling of Hoo Doo brews, and check the brewery’s events page for more ways you can celebrate.
