Anchorage food trucks you need to try this summer

Summer is officially on its way, and nothing pairs better with a sunny Alaska afternoon than stopping by a local food truck. Here are our favorites:

• DD’s Burgers: There’s a new kid on the block. The truck opened two months ago and has nothing but five-star Yelp reviews.

• The Back Porch: Fried pop tarts. Brisket-filled grilled cheese sandwiches. That’s all.

• Mochileros Street Food: This Guatemalan food truck is new this season and brings fresh flavor to the scene.

• Spenard Food Truck Carnival: The gang’s all here. Stop by for classic trucks like Yeti Dogs and the Smokehouse BBQ.
