Fasten your cape for Superhero Day at the Alaska Zoo

On Saturday, July 20, the Alaska Zoo is joining forces with Papa Murphy’s Pizza to host a Superhero Day at the Zoo. Costumes are encouraged as zoo visitors come out to meet their favorite heroes from Enchanted Alaska, enjoy pizza-themed animal enrichment and participate in special Critter Chats and up-close animal encounters.

The purchase of an adult ticket gets you two youth tickets at no cost. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the family-friendly event will have cotton candy for sale. The zoo’s free summer shuttle will run from the South High School parking lot.
